Ingredients

  • 1 kg Wheat flour type 405
  • 2 dice Fresh yeast
  • 0,5 liter Milk
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tablespoon Salt
  • 1,5 teaspoon Sugar
  • 6 tablespoon Sunflower oil

Instructions

  • First warm the milk (I always do a test with my little finger if it feels very warm and not too hot)
  • Put the flour in a large bowl (keep some flour for kneading about 100 GR.) Make a well in the flour - crumble the yeast and pour the sugar over it. Now about 6-7 tablespoons. Pour the warm milk over the yeast-sugar mixture. stir with a tablespoon. only in the hollow of the dough !! cover and let rest in a warm place for about 20 minutes.
  • then add salt, oil, egg and the rest of the milk and stir with a wooden spoon. If the dough sticks, add a little flour. Sprinkle the work surface with flour, put the dough on top and knead well
  • then shape the dough into a ball and let it rest in the bowl, covered, for another 30 minutes
  • Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Put the dough in a large box form or form 2 loaves of bread. Cover again (with a tea towel) let rise for 15 minutes. Then put in the oven and bake for the first time.
  • also tastes good with diced ham. Green pepper or, if you like it sweet, with raisins. Knead the extra ingredients into the dough beforehand.
  • Freshly baked with homemade jam, we like it best
