Lightning Cake
The perfect lightning cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 a cup Whipped cream
- 2 a cup Flour
- 1 a cup Sugar
- 1 packet Baking powder
- 4 medium-sized Eggs
- 125 g Butter
- 4 tablespoon Milk
- 1 a cup Sugar
- 200 g Sliced almond leaves
- Place mug of whipped cream (200g) in a bowl. Now use the empty cup as a measuring vessel and stir 2 cups of flour and 1 cup of sugar together. Add the baking powder and the eggs, stir together and place on a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet and bake at 200 degrees for 12-15 minutes on the middle rack. In the meantime, mix 1 cup of sugar with 125g of melted butter, 4 tablespoons of milk and 200g of sliced almond leaves. Put the mixed items evenly on the pre-baked cake and bake everything together for another 12-15 minutes.
