Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
a great gift and without spices it is also something for the whole year
Mix the red wine with the rum and/or whiskey in a large saucepan, stir in the cream, and add the spices. In a large mug, briefly heat the nougat spread with the caramel syrup in the microwave until the two can be easily blended. Be careful not to burn the nougat spread. Pour the nougat and caramel mixture into the wine and cream mixture and blend briefly with a hand blender if necessary. Now add the powdered sugar and vanilla seeds to taste. If the liqueur is too strong, you can add larger amounts of cream, hazelnut spread, and caramel. Then bottle everything and seal it. Tip: If you omit the Christmas spices and simply season with plenty of vanilla and caramel, you get a liqueur that will taste good all year round. Of course, depending on the proportion of cream, the liqueur will have a limited shelf life. It should always be kept in the refrigerator and always shake the bottle briefly before opening.
