- The finished dumpling mixture is evenly distributed on cling film and pressed flat – place a strong strip of cranberries in the middle – now roll up the dumpling roll with the help of the cling film and close – press everything firmly all around
- Close the cling film well on the sides and now also wrap the whole roll in aluminum foil again – pierce both films (aluminum and cling film) a few times with a pointed meat fork so that very little moisture can penetrate the roll while cooking!
- Put the roll in boiling water and let it simmer gently for about 20 minutes – then take it out and keep the napkin dumplings warm in the foil until serving – only cut into thick slices with a sharp knife or an electric knife immediately before serving
