Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 eggs
  • 330 g icing sugar
  • 250 g butter
  • 360 g Flour, smooth
  • 250 g nuts, ground
  • 100 g breadcrumbs
  • ⅛ liter of water
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Jam (blackcurrant or currant) for spreading

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cream the butter and powdered sugar until fluffy. Gradually beat in the eggs. Then add the remaining ingredients alternately with the water to form a batter. Spread 2/3 of the batter onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Spread thickly with the currant jam. Fill the remaining batter into a piping bag and pipe 1 cm thick strips in a lattice pattern. Bake in a preheated oven at 165°C for approximately 30-40 minutes.
