Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 175 g sugar
  • 200 g ground almonds
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp instant coffee powder
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • some cocoa powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Beat the egg whites with the lemon juice and salt until stiff peaks form. Slowly add the sugar. Combine the almonds, coffee powder, cornstarch, and cinnamon and carefully fold into the beaten egg whites. Transfer the mixture to a piping bag and place small mounds on the baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 150°C (top/bottom heat, fan oven: 130°C) for 25-30 minutes. Once cooled, sprinkle with cocoa powder.
