Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 3 eggs
  • 125 g margarine
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 125 liters of milk mixed with cream
  • Clarified butter, for frying
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 2 hours

Combine the ingredients in a dough and let it rest for 1 hour. Form the dough into a two-finger-wide roll. Cut off 2 cm long pieces, roll them out very thinly, as round as possible, and place them in the hot shortening. Immediately, pinch them together with a fork to create wrinkles. Bake until light golden brown, drain well, and dust with powdered sugar.
