Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
with blue cheese and peaches
Cut the pork loin into finger-thick slices and fry them briefly in a little oil. The slices should just get a nice brown color. Then place the slices in a shallow baking dish (half the size of a baking sheet). Halve the jerked beef slices and fry briefly in the same pan, then arrange them on top of the meat. Then place the canned peach halves on top of the meat, so that two or three slices of meat are always covered with one peach half. Slice the blue cheese and arrange them on top of the peaches and in the spaces between them. Briefly boil some of the peach juice (about a third or more, depending on your taste) in the pan in which the meat was browned. Carefully pour this juice over the dish. Place the dish in the oven at around 180 degrees Celsius until the cheese has melted. Tagliatelle, rice, potatoes, and salad are suitable side dishes for this dish.
