Banana curry fillet

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 2 kg pork fillet(s)
  • some flour
  • Salt and pepper, freshly ground
  • 5 tbsp oil
  • 4 bananas
  • 200 ml curry sauce, ready
  • 600 ml cream
  • 200 g cheese, grated
  • 4 tbsp curry powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Cut the fillet into approximately 3 cm thick slices, season with salt and pepper, and dust lightly with flour. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the meat in batches, then place the fillet in a shallow, greased baking dish. Peel the bananas, slice them, and arrange them on top of the fillet. Mix the cream with the curry sauce and curry powder and pour over the bananas. Sprinkle the grated cheese on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C (top/bottom heat) until the cheese is golden brown.
