Lorraine Style Bacon Cake

- 250 g Flour
- 0,25 teaspoon Salt
- 125 g Butter
- 4 tablespoon Water
- 75 g Ham cubes
- Oil
- 75 g Grated cheese
- 250 Milliliters Milk
- 250 g Whipped cream
- 2 Eggs
- 2 Egg yolk
- Salt
- Nutmeg
- Cayenne pepper
- Put the flour with salt, butter and water in a bowl. Work with the dough hook of the mixer. Then work it into a smooth dough with your hands. Wrap in cling film and put in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Briefly fry the ham cubes in a little oil. Let cool down.
- Grease a quiche pan. Roll out the base on a little flour and place in the form. Pull the edge up a little.
- Spread the ham cubes on the floor. Sprinkle the cheese on top.
- Mix the milk with the cream, eggs and egg yolk. Season with salt, nutmeg and cayenne pepper. Cover the diced ham and cheese with the mixture.
- Bake in the oven at 220 degrees for about 40 minutes. Cover with baking paper after two thirds of the baking time.
