Lose Weight Properly With A Healthy Diet

When you go on a diet, you want to lose weight as quickly as possible. This inspires and stimulates you to continue to stick to the restrictions, and sets you up for long-term changes in your life. However, low-calorie fad diets from the Internet very quickly kill any motivation, because the means does not justify the ends.

The torment of a starvation diet, discomfort due to a scarce set of foods, and chronic hunger make short-term weight loss not at all joyful.

What happens next, after the end of the diet? … Breakdown, guilt, binges, new pounds and folds on the body, and repetition of diets in an even more severe version. It turns out to be a vicious circle… Isn’t it? Moreover, with prolonged use of weight loss diets, you can seriously harm your health.

So how can you lose weight without harming your health and forget about those extra pounds forever?

There is a way out – you need to radically change your eating style and philosophy. Remember the brilliant phrase of the great philosopher Socrates: “We do not live to eat, but eat to live.” And one more very important fact: it is impossible to lose weight that has been gained over months and years in a few weeks, let alone a few days, without causing harm to your health.

The only way to lose weight without harming your body is to follow the principles and rules of healthy, proper nutrition.

Benefits of proper nutrition

Proper nutrition does not require any violence against yourself and deprivation. You can eat familiar foods in familiar combinations without feeling hungry. Of course, proper nutrition will require: taking into account the calorie content and composition of food, cooking properly, adhering to a diet, slightly changing the approach to choosing dishes…

Eating according to all the canons of proper nutrition, you can sometimes deviate from the diet.

You won’t have to give up cakes and chips, or McDonald’s food if you love it, or Coca-Cola, or grilled chicken. It’s just that now junk food will take up very little space in your life.

After all, if you don’t go hungry, you won’t feel cravings for forbidden foods. Your metabolism will remain normal, and improving your diet will lead to new strength and energy. Which you will surely want to direct in the right direction – by going in for sports.

Why you can’t lose weight fast

The canons of healthy, authentic nutrition prohibit reducing the calorie content of your usual diet by more than 20%. This is fraught with disruption of the body’s functioning, and later with serious consequences. This means that the calorie deficit is unlikely to exceed 400-500 calories per day.

One gram of fat contains 8 calories. This also applies to the fat in your body. It will also take calories to break it down. Simple calculations show that in order to lose just 1 kg of adipose tissue, you need to spend 8 thousand calories. With a healthy diet, we eat only 500 calories a day. So, if you do nothing but change your diet, you can lose no more than one and a half kilograms in a month on a healthy diet. You will lose only 300-400 grams of excess weight per week. Of course, this will not seem enough to you, and without quick results you will be disappointed, and you may even stop counting calories and return to your normal diet.

So what can you do to prevent this from happening?

Lose weight on the right diet… correctly!

The key to losing weight properly and effectively is to switch to a proper, healthy diet and increase physical activity at the same time. Of course, if you start going to the gym, it will be the best, but you can do something at home.

If you start running every day for at least 30 minutes, you will burn an additional 300-400 calories. Refuse to travel in transport where you can walk – the process will go even faster.

A healthy person should take at least 10 thousand steps every day, which is about 6.5-7 km on foot or an hour and a half of walking. It’s not difficult to do, just change your habits.

With the help of not even sports, but just minimal physical activity, you can improve your weight loss results by up to 600 g – 1 kg per week.

And if you take up sports seriously, you can lose 8 kg in a month on a healthy diet.

Since proper nutrition is a way of life, not a diet, you will lose 2-4 kg in 3 months, and in six months you will get the body of your dreams, even getting rid of a lot of excess weight. Unfortunately, without active physical activity, this path will take years, not months.

Hurry up to become beautiful and healthy, change your life completely!
