Lose Weight With Tuna: What You Should Pay Attention To

Lose weight with tuna: Here’s how

This simple form of diet is based on canned tuna from the supermarket and is therefore not time-consuming. However, you should pay attention to the following points in order to be able to effectively let those annoying pounds tumble:

  • Only use tuna without oil. This can be kept for years and can be used directly from the tin for further processing.
  • In addition, the nutritional values of the tuna without oil are of course also decisive: few carbohydrates and a lot of protein help to continuously build muscle. Due to the low-fat content, this fish is even used in a low-carb diet.
  • So when you buy it, look out for the addition “in your own juice and infusion” on the can packaging.
Because experience has shown that oil-free tuna is rather tasteless and dry, it should be combined with other dishes. Various soups and stews are primarily suitable here, which, together with the fish, ensure a long feeling of satiety.
  • To lose weight, you can of course also try the so-called low-carb pizza. To do this, you should first mix three eggs and then add two cans of tuna. From the resulting mass into a pizza base and let the dough bake for 15 minutes at approx. 180 degrees circulating air. Now you can spread the tomato passata on the tuna base and top the pizza with anything you like. Finally, it should be put back in the oven for about eight minutes.
  • The optimal meal at home and on the go is a low-calorie tuna and rice dish that can also be enjoyed cold.
  • While you let the rice cook, conventional gherkins come into their own. Cut the cucumbers into small pieces and mix in the cooked rice, pickles, and canned tuna. And you’re done!
  • But remember that this is a diet. If you want to achieve long-term success, you should think about changing your diet. Because there is no way around a healthy diet and sufficient exercise.
