Low-calorie Americans

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 90 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 250 g flour
  • ½ cup milk
  • e.g. powdered sugar or
  • Chocolate or
  • Lemon juice or
  • Rum flavoring or
  • Sprinkles

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

makes 10 pieces

Beat the sugar, eggs, and vanilla sugar with a mixer until fluffy. Then add the milk, baking powder, and flour, making sure there are no lumps. Spread the mixture on the baking sheet in small portions (about 1.5 tablespoons of batter per American biscuit) and bake at 180°C for 20 minutes. My tip: Place 5 American biscuits on each baking sheet and bake the whole thing in two batches, so they don’t run into each other! After baking, you can spread icing or melted chocolate on the flat side. Sprinkle with sprinkles if desired. Without icing, the recipe has 1395 kcal for 10 biscuits, which is 140 kcal per biscuit.
