Low-carb cottage cheese and orange dessert

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • ½ orange(s), untreated
  • 3 tbsp, heaped cottage cheese
  • 1 tbsp crème fraîche
  • 1 pinch(s) cinnamon powder
  • 1 pinch(s) of stevia, in powder form

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

quick, tasty, light and makes a statement – also ideal for guests

First, peel the orange, divide it into wedges, and squeeze some orange oil from the untreated orange peel into a small bowl. Add the cottage cheese, crème fraîche, cinnamon, and stevia to this bowl and mix everything thoroughly. Cut the orange wedges into small triangular pieces in another bowl, the one you’ll be serving the dessert in, so the bottom is well covered. Then add the cottage cheese mixture and garnish the dessert with two or three orange segments and a touch of cinnamon. My tip: This recipe can also be made with other fruits, such as pomelo or persimmon for an unusual variation, or with apple for those who love local fruit. In summer, the recipe can also be livened up with a squeeze of lemon or lime juice. It’s even more refreshing with a sprinkling of mint.
