Low-carb rolls

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 3 eggs
  • 250 g quark, 0.3% fat
  • 75 g walnut flour or almond flour
  • 25 g flaxseed flour
  • 1 pinch of psyllium, optional
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp bread spice mix, or salt, herbs etc.

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Combine eggs and quark. Add flour, baking powder, salt, and/or bread spice and mix everything together. With wet hands, form 4 rolls from the dough and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for approximately 30-35 minutes. Check with a wooden skewer whether the rolls are thoroughly baked. Weight per roll: approximately 95 g Calories: 226 kcal Carbohydrates: 5.78 g Fat: 11.8 g Protein: 21.775
