Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • ½ apple
  • ½ pear(s)
  • ½ small pomegranate
  • ½ lime(s), zest and juice
  • 350 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 500 g low-fat yogurt
  • ½ lime(s), juice
  • e.g. sugar or sweetener

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Wash, quarter, core, and dice the apple. Wash, quarter, core, and dice the pear. Deseed the pomegranate. Grate some lime zest and juice the fruit. You can also squeeze the juice for the cream at the same time. Cook the fruit with the lime juice and zest in the microwave for 3-4 minutes until it becomes a compote, or simmer on the stovetop for 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently, until the desired consistency is reached. For the cream, combine all the ingredients and season to taste. You can add as much sweetness as you like or to keep your calorie levels low. Pour the compote into glasses first, then the cream. If you like, garnish with fresh fruit. The dessert can be served immediately or a little later.
