Low-salt bread baked in a bread maker

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 330 ml water, lukewarm
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of sugar
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 dashes balsamic vinegar
  • 250 g wheat flour type 405
  • 250 g wholemeal flour, wheat, rye, spelt or similar
  • 5 g dry yeast

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 3 hours 40 minutes; Total time approx. 3 hours 45 minutes

especially suitable for (small) children

Add all ingredients to the bread maker in the order listed. Set the bread maker to whole wheat. This takes me about 3 hours 40 seconds. I always use whatever oil and flour I have on hand. It’s important, however, that half of the flour, or 250g, is whole wheat. If I use rye flour, I add a little more water, as otherwise the bread would be very dry. This bread is primarily suitable for small children. My 14-month-old daughter loves it. However, for my taste, it contains too little salt, sugar, flavor enhancers, etc.
