Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 500 g minced beef
- 1 large onion(s)
- 1 small jar of pickled gherkins
- 1 tsp cornstarch to bind
- 250 ml vegetable broth or meat broth
- salt and pepper
- Fat
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Season the minced meat with pepper and salt and brown in a little fat. Add the finely diced onion and the finely chopped gherkins. Deglaze with a little of the gherkin brine (without the spices) and simmer gently for about 5 minutes. Then add the hot broth. Simmer gently for another 15-18 minutes. Finally, thicken with Mondamin and season to taste. This dish goes best with mashed potatoes and lettuce.
