Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 slices of ham
  • 4 slices of cheese (Gouda)
  • 32 noodles (macaroni), long
  • salt water
  • 65 g butter
  • 100 g cheese, grated
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • e.g. milk (approx. 1/4 l)
  • n. B. Soup powder
  • e.g. salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

topped with homemade sauce and cheese

Break the macaroni in half, cook in salted water until al dente, and let cool. Place a slice of cheese on each slice of ham. Divide the pasta among the 4 portions, roll them up tightly, and place side by side in a baking dish. Melt the butter and make a roux with the flour. Deglaze the roux with the milk (it should be a nice, creamy sauce, depending on your preference!) and season with the soup mix, salt, and pepper. Pour the sauce over the rolls and sprinkle with the grated cheese. Bake at 180°C for about 30 minutes, until the cheese is golden brown.
