lightning fast without much cooking

We have this recipe for when you’re in a hurry and don’t feel like cooking a big meal. Break the macaroni in half and cook in plenty of salted water for about 9 minutes until al dente. Drain well and transfer to a bowl. Drizzle with a splash of olive oil and mix. Rinse the basil, shake dry, and cut the leaves into strips. Grate or shave the Parmesan cheese. Place the macaroni on a plate; if you like, you can break it up a little with a fork. Then add 2 teaspoons of tomato paste, mix well, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and basil.
