Macaroni with tuna and peas

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g pasta (macaroni)
  • 100 g peas, frozen
  • 2 onions
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 can of tuna, natural
  • 1 tbsp capers
  • 3 anchovy fillets
  • Salt
  • Pepper, black from the mill
  • 1 can tomato(s) (Pizza tomatoes)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Thaw the peas. Peel and dice the onions. Heat the olive oil and fry the diced onions until golden brown. Add the peas and sauté briefly, then deglaze with the pizza tomatoes. Tear the tuna into pieces with a fork and add the capers and anchovy fillets. Season generously with salt and pepper. Fold the al dente macaroni into the sauce. If you like, sprinkle with some Parmesan cheese. Add a few fresh mint leaves for a particularly tangy touch.
