Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg potato(s), floury
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 clove(s) garlic, squeezed
  • 2 tbsp freshly chopped herbs
  • Salt
  • 1 egg(s), beaten
  • 100 g tomatoes, pureed
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 jar mushrooms, sliced
  • 100 g salami, sliced
  • 125g mozzarella
  • oregano
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Peel and dice the potatoes, and cook in salted water. Preheat oven to 225°C. Drain and mash the potatoes. Add the butter, garlic, herbs, and egg and mix. Spread the mixture about 1 cm thick on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the oven for about 10 minutes, until the crust begins to firm up. In the meantime, mix the tomatoes with tomato paste and season. Spread the tomato sauce over the potato base, then top with salami, mushrooms, and cheese. (Any other pizza toppings will work—there are no limits here.) Bake the pizza in the oven for another 20 minutes.
