Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 63 g butter
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 44 g sugar
  • 1 m.-sized egg(s)
  • 63 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 15 g baking cocoa
  • 25 ml milk
  • 1 tbsp rum
  • 80 g marzipan paste
  • 5 tsp plum jam
  • e.g. icing or chocolate glaze
  • n. B. sugar decoration

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

For 5 small cakes, very chocolatey

Cream the butter, sugar, and salt in a mixing bowl until fluffy. Add the egg and mix briefly. Add the flour, baking powder, cocoa, milk, and rum to the bowl and continue stirring until a creamy batter forms. Cut the marzipan into 0.5 cm pieces and fold in. Now place half of the batter into five muffin paper cases, place a teaspoon of plum jam in the center of each, and then spoon more batter on top, filling the cases completely. The plum jam must be completely covered in batter to prevent it from running out. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius (convection oven) for 15-20 minutes on the middle rack. After the skewer test, allow to cool completely on a wire rack. The muffins can now be covered and decorated with icing or chocolate glaze, as desired.
