Ingredients for 20 servings:

  • 3 eggs
  • 150 g sugar
  • 2 bags of vanilla sugar
  • 200 g flour
  • ½ sachet of baking powder
  • 150 g butter, very soft

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Beat the eggs, sugar, and vanilla sugar until fluffy. Then quickly stir in the flour and baking powder, along with the very soft butter. Then, place the batter in the freezer for about 10 to 15 minutes, fill the prepared madeleine molds, and bake for about 10 to 12 minutes at 200°C. If you don’t have madeleine molds, you can also bake them in muffin or paper baking cups. If you like, you can also flavor the batter with grated lemon or orange zest.
