Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 1 m.-large white cabbage
- 1 kg minced horse or beef
- 500 g potatoes
- 3 bags of ready-made roast mix
- Salt
- pepper
- Fondor
- possibly caraway
- possibly sauce thickener, dark (or 1-2 potatoes)
- oil
- Water
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
low-calorie
Remove the outer leaves from the white cabbage, cut out the stalk, and cut the cabbage into bite-sized pieces. Fry the minced meat in a large pot (with a little oil) until crumbly. Add the white cabbage and sauté. Add enough water to just cover the cabbage. You may need a little less, as the cabbage will gradually shrink. Stir in the ready-made mix and simmer for 1 hour. Boil the potatoes separately and add them to the white cabbage pot 15 minutes before the end of the cooking time. Season with pepper, salt, Fondor, and, if you like, caraway seeds. Thicken with a sauce thickener, if desired. You can also grate 1-2 raw potatoes into the pot to thicken the sauce.
