Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 500 g flour
- 2 eggs
- 200 g sugar
- 200 g butter
- 125 g hazelnuts or almonds, ground
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp. clove powder
- 1 packet of baking powder
- ½ pack of candied lemon, finely chopped
- ½ pack of orange peel, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp rum
- 150 g powdered sugar
- e.g. lemon juice
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
very moist Christmas biscuits
Mix all ingredients into a dough and form into approximately 2 cm thick rolls. Bake at 200°C for approximately 15-20 minutes. While still hot, cover with a glaze made from powdered sugar and lemon juice and cut into pieces while still warm.
