Magical marzipan Christmas trees

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g marzipan
  • 150 g flour
  • 1 pinch of baking powder
  • 75 g butter
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 5 drops of bitter almond flavor
  • 1 egg white
  • 5 g food coloring, green
  • 50 g powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp Amaretto

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Knead the marzipan with the flour, baking powder, butter, salt, flavoring, and egg white into a shortcrust pastry. Chill for 1 hour. Roll out between cling film and cut out Christmas trees. Bake at 180°C for 10 minutes. Let cool. Mix the powdered sugar with the coloring and liqueur and coat the trees. Of course, you can choose a different color and motif; the sky’s the limit.
