Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 ½ kg spinach, fresh
- 1 onion(s)
- 1 clove(s) garlic
- 250 ml milk
- 3 eggs
- 250 g sheep’s cheese
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
Wash and sort the spinach. Brown the butter in a pan, sauté the diced onion, add the spinach, and let it wilt. Crush the garlic, sauté for about 5 minutes, and season with salt and pepper. Place the spinach in a casserole dish. Whisk the eggs with the milk, add a little salt and pepper, and pour over the spinach. Dice the feta cheese and spread it over the casserole. Bake in the oven at 180°C for about 25 minutes. Serve with flatbread, briefly toasted.
