Make Braid Yourself
The perfect make braid yourself recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 x Whisked eggs
- 10 g Dry yeast
- 1 x Egg yolk
- 250 ml Lukewarm water
- 60 ml Oil
- 1,5 tsp Salt
- 50 g Sugar
- 675 g Flour
- Mix the yeast, 1 tbsp sugar and water.
- Let stand for 10 minutes until the yeast foams
- Mix flour yeast mixture eggs salt sugar and oil
- Mix into a smooth dough
- Oil a bowl, pour in the dough, cover with a tea towel and let rest for 2 hours
- Press the dough down with your fist, flour the work surface and pour the dough on top.
- Cut the dough in half and divide the halved dough again into 3 pieces.
- Roll out the pieces and make a braid.
- Place on the baking paper and let rise for 1 hour. PREHEAT THE OVEN: to 180 degrees.
- Mix the egg yolk with a little water
- After the hour of walking, brush with egg yolk
