Ingredients
- Pre-Dough:
- 100 g Flour
- 250 ml Milk
- 50 g Sugar
- 0,5 cube Yeast
- Main dough:
- 400 g Flour
- 1 pinch Salt
- 50 g Butter
- 1 whole Vanilla pod scraped out
- Pre-Dough
- To spread 1 egg and some milk
Instructions
- Make a pre-dough from 100 g flour, sugar, milk and yeast and let it start for 1 hour.
- Knead 2,400 g flour, salt and butter together with the pre-dough into a smooth dough and then let it rise for 60 minutes.
- Divide the dough into 3 pieces, roll them into strands and make a braid from them. Cover the braid and let rise for 45 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 170 °. Brush the yeast plait with egg milk and bake for 30-40 minutes
