Make Ice Cubes Yourself – The Best Tips

Make ice cubes yourself – with these tips you can do it

  • You can find ice cube bags in many supermarkets and drugstores. Fill these bags with tap water and tie a knot at the top. Tip: A clipper is practical, then you can save yourself the somewhat cumbersome knot.
  • There are now self-sealing ice cube bags. They have to be filled up first and then quickly turned over. It is best to try out which ice cube bags work best for you.
  • Of course, you can also use the usual ice cube boxes. The problem here is usually getting the ice cubes out of the box without damage. Our tip: Hold the box under lukewarm water for a short time to be able to solve the cubes better.
  • You can also make colorful ice cubes. Simply add some fruit juice to the tap water or replace the water entirely with juice. Mineral water in particular is particularly interesting with fruity ice cubes – both visually and in terms of taste.
  • The ice cubes need their time in the fridge. Count on a few hours until the cubes are sufficiently hard.
