Make Lemonade Yourself Without Sugar – That’s How It Works

Make lemonade yourself without sugar – the basic recipe

You can quickly and easily mix this refreshing drink yourself.

  • For 6 glasses you need 4 lemons, 6 sprigs of fresh mint, and 1 liter of water. If the soda is too acidic for you, use 1 to 2 tablespoons of stevia or 2 tablespoons of rice syrup as a healthy sugar substitute.
  • Halve the lemons and squeeze the juice over a bowl.
  • Add the mint to the lemon juice and crush with a pestle.
  • If necessary, add stevia or rice syrup.
  • Let all the ingredients infuse for about 10 minutes.
  • Put the mixture in the fruit insert of the carafe and fill it up with water. Whether you use sparkling or still water is up to your personal taste.

Spice up the drink with other ingredients

You can vary the basic recipe as you like with other ingredients.

  • Crush a handful of raspberries and add them to the lemonade.
  • Peel and slice a thumb-sized head of ginger. You can also add these to the drink.
  • The addition of watermelon juice is particularly refreshing in summer. To do this, puree the pulp and squeeze it through a nut milk bag into the lemonade.
  • Try other herbs too. Lemon thyme or chocolate mint makes your drink a special taste experience.
