This recipe for incredibly delicious lemonade in 2 minutes will quickly make your day perfect. Usually, our body loses 2-2.5 liters of moisture per day, and in hot weather, this volume increases to 4 liters.

Dehydration leads to dizziness, and headaches, reduces performance, especially mental activity, and exacerbates chronic diseases, primarily of the heart and kidneys. That’s why you can’t do without drinking plenty of water in the heat.

Five of the most useful drinks for the heat

Water. Doctors recommend that you focus on it. The perfect drink to quench your thirst in the heat is lemon infusion, which you can make yourself.

Tea. It helps a lot on a hot day. But it should be lightly brewed, unsweetened, preferably with lemon.

Kvass. It contains carbon dioxide and amino acids, which contributes to excellent thirst quenching.

Juices, fruit drinks, and nectars. They are good thirst quenchers if they are natural (especially freshly squeezed), low in sugar, and best of all, half diluted with water.

Kefir, ryazhenka, yogurt, and sour milk containing organic acids are great thirst quenchers.

What not to drink in the heat

Alcohol puts a huge strain on the heart and blood vessels and on a hot day poses a serious health hazard to the strongest person.

Beer, so beloved by many men, also puts a strain on the heart and blood vessels.

Carbonated sweet drinks – here the position of doctors is unequivocal: drinking them is undesirable at any time of the year. Not only do they not quench thirst, but on the contrary, they cause it.
