Ingredients
For the dough:
- 6 Egg yolks
- 200 g Powdered sugar
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 1 packet Grated lemon peel
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- 1 pinch Cinnamon
- 200 g Ground almonds
- 6 Egg Whites
- 1 pinch Salt
To sprinkle:
- Powdered sugar
Instructions
For the dough:
- Separate the eggs and place the yolks in a mixing bowl.
- Add powdered sugar and vanilla sugar and stir.
- Add lemon zest, lemon juice and cinnamon and stir.
- Add the almonds and stir in.
- Beat egg whites with salt until stiff and fold in.
- Pour the dough into a mold (24 cm diameter).
- Bake at 190 degrees (top and bottom heat) for about 45 minutes.
To sprinkle:
- After baking, sieve some powdered sugar over the top.
