Mama's fruit floor

Spread the love

Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 3 eggs
  • 125 g sugar
  • 125 g flour
  • 125 g fat
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 vanilla sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Whisk the eggs, sugar, and vanilla sugar until frothy. Fold in the sifted flour and baking powder. Finally, fold in the melted butter. Immediately transfer the cake to a greased fruit base tin and bake in a preheated oven at 190°C for about 12 minutes. Turn out of the tin after baking and let cool. Any fruit works well as a topping (especially strawberries and sour cherries). To prevent the cake from soaking, I sprinkle a packet of cream stabilizer on the base or, like Grandma, mix 1 tablespoon of butter with 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar and spread it over the base.
