Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 6 mandarins or clementines
- 2 tbsp orange liqueur
- 1 tbsp powdered sugar
- 50 g marzipan paste
- 2 tbsp almonds, sliced (flakes)
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
Peel 4 of the six mandarins/clementines and cut them into wedges. Remove the white pith and cut each wedge lengthwise once (with a sharp knife). Divide the mixture into serving bowls (preferably cut-side up). Squeeze the juice from the remaining 2 mandarins/clementines and mix with the marzipan, powdered sugar, and liqueur. Drizzle over the fruit. Roast the flaked almonds in a dry pan until golden brown and sprinkle over the mandarins/clementines. Tip: If the mandarins/clementines don’t have a strong flavor, you can also add orange juice.
