Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 100 g lamb’s lettuce
- 1 mango(s)
- 250 g breakfast bacon
- 1 m.-sized onion(s)
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp, levelled pepper, black
- 2 pinches of chili powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Wash the lamb’s lettuce thoroughly and drain in a sieve. Peel the mango with a vegetable peeler. Then use a knife to separate the flesh lengthwise from the stone. Cut the flesh into pieces and place in a salad bowl. Squeeze out any remaining flesh from the stone with your hand over the salad bowl. Cut the bacon into small cubes and place in a small saucepan. Heat until translucent. Then add the olive oil and onion and sizzle for 3-4 minutes. Remove from the heat, add the pepper, chili, and balsamic vinegar. Mix everything well and pour into the salad bowl over the mango pieces and mix. Finally, carefully stir in the lamb’s lettuce and serve.
