Muffins with surprise filling

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 150 g sugar
  • 200 g butter, melted
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 4 tbsp milk
  • Paper cups
  • Sweets such as Smarties
  • 200 ml cream
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 47 minutes

Preheat the oven to 210°C (top/bottom heat). Mix all ingredients, from flour to milk, into a smooth, pliable batter. Line a muffin tin with muffin cups and fill each cup with about 1 tablespoon of the mixture. Bake in the hot oven for about 12 minutes. Let cool for about 10 minutes, then use a knife to cut a cone out of the top of the muffin. Fill with Smarties or other sweets. Whip the cream with the vanilla sugar until fluffy and spoon onto each muffin. Then place the lid back on top of the cream and press down lightly.
