Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

low-fat, egg-free and quick

Great for times when you’re in a hurry: I place a measuring cup with the bananas on a scale, reset, and add the maple and vanilla syrup. Then I add the margarine, and puree the whole thing with a hand blender. Then I put it back on the scale, add the flour, baking powder, and salt, mix the top layer roughly with a spoon, and then mix everything together thoroughly. If the dough is too thin, I sift in more flour and stir in any of the above-mentioned ingredients, or pinch off a portion and knead it in with a tablespoon at a time. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) top/bottom heat. Then I place the dough on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and sprinkled with oatmeal and press it out into a 1.5 cm thick sheet. I then cut out different shapes using either a glass or baking molds, and form the leftover dough into small rolls. If you want, you can brush them with milk before putting the tray in the oven for 15-20 minutes.
