Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 300 g margarine or semi-skimmed butter
- 275 g sugar
- 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 5 eggs
- 375 g wheat flour
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 3 tbsp milk
- Fat and breadcrumbs for the jars
- 20 g cocoa powder
- 3 tbsp milk
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes
stays fresh for 6 months
Mix all ingredients except milk into a batter. Divide the batter into two portions and add the cocoa and milk to one half. Grease and crumble 6 jars and fill with both types of batter. Do not fill the jars completely. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 45 minutes. Do the skewer test. Remove the jars from the oven and immediately seal with the twist-off lids. You can also use other jars, such as Weck jars or similar.
