Marble cake with spelt flour

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g butter
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 shot of rum
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 400 g flour (spelt)
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 125 ml milk
  • 20 g cocoa powder
  • 20 g sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cream the softened butter until fluffy. Gradually add 200g of sugar, vanilla sugar, eggs, rum, and salt, stirring until creamy. Stir in the flour mixed with baking powder alternately with the 1/8 liter of milk. Stir the cocoa powder, 20g of sugar, and 2 tablespoons of milk into 1/3 of the batter. Pour half of the light batter into a greased and floured bundt pan, then pour the dark batter over it, and finally the remaining light batter. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for approximately 60-70 minutes.
