easy and quick from ready-made puff pastry

Roll out the finished puff pastry on a cutting board, divide it once crosswise and twice lengthwise (makes 6 equal pieces). Then score 6 to 8 slits crosswise halfway down each piece of dough. Leave a small edge so that the dough can be folded over more easily later. Peel the apple and cut it into small cubes. Mix it in a bowl with honey, cinnamon, and sugar. Spread the apple mixture in a light heap on the uncut side of the dough. Fold the pastry parcels in half and lightly press down on the sides. Place the finished apple parcels on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and brush with egg yolk to give them a beautiful golden brown color. Bake the apple parcels in a preheated oven at 220°C (top/bottom heat) for about 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool. Finally, dust with powdered sugar.
