Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 onions, sliced ​​into rings
  • 4 bay leaves, fresh if possible
  • 3 tbsp vinegar (red wine vinegar)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion rings and, if available, fresh bay leaves. Slowly fry the onions, stirring constantly, until softened, about 15 minutes. When the onions begin to brown slightly, stir in the vinegar and remove the skillet from the heat. Serve as an antipasti over briefly fried zucchini or eggplant.
