Marinade for grilled steaks

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 150 g onion(s), red
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 3 tbsp vinegar (red wine vinegar)
  • 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 dashes Tabasco
  • 1 tsp mustard, Dijon
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • some salt
  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • ½ bunch parsley, flat

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 hours; Total time approx. 5 hours 25 minutes

Grate peeled onions and place them in a large bowl. Mix with the ingredients, from oil to mustard. Finely chop the garlic and add it to the sauce along with the spices. Season to taste. Finally, stir in the chopped parsley. Marinate the steaks for several hours (4 to 5). Pat the steaks dry before grilling.
