Marinade for steaks

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • ½ bottle of beer (pilsner)
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 large onion(s), cut into rings
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 6 juniper berries
  • 10 black peppercorns
  • Herbs, to taste, frozen, fresh or dried
  • some chili pepper(s), finely chopped, to taste

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Mix all the ingredients and place them in a bowl. I prefer fresh herbs and just a little chili, as we don’t like it too spicy. For the meat, you can use any meat that can be grilled: turkey, chicken, pork steak. I haven’t tried it with beef steaks yet. I’ve also marinated shrimp in the marinade. Marinate the meat. It should be completely coated in the marinade and let it sit, covered, in the refrigerator for several hours, preferably overnight. The marinade makes the meat super tender.
