Marinated chicken skewer

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g chicken breast fillet(s)
  • 1 medium-sized lemon(s)
  • 1 tsp, heaped mustard (Dijon)
  • 1 tsp, stripped ginger, ground
  • 1 tsp, heaped paprika powder, sweet
  • 1 tsp, heaped curry powder
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Cut the chicken into approximately 1.5 cm thick slices, then place them in a shallow dish. Squeeze the lemon juice and mix a marinade of mustard, ginger, paprika, curry powder, oil, and lemon juice. Pour this over the chicken slices. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes. Roll up the marinated chicken slices, place them evenly on 4 wooden skewers, and season with salt. Then grill or fry in a dry pan for 2 minutes on each side. It’s also delicious with fruit between the pieces of meat.
