Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 tbsp clarified butter
- 2 tbsp honey
- 5 tbsp chili sauce
- 1 tbsp mustard, grainy or regular
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- ½ tsp chili powder
- ½ tsp thyme, dried
- 150 ml tomato ketchup
- ½ lemon(s), juice
- e.g. salt and pepper
- 16 chicken wings
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 3 hours 50 minutes
Melt clarified butter in a saucepan, add all ingredients except the chicken wings, mix well, and bring to a boil briefly. Allow the marinade to cool. Place the chicken wings in a bowl, pour the marinade over them, and mix well. Cover and let stand in the refrigerator for 3 hours, or preferably overnight. Bake in the oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for 20-25 minutes, or grill.
