Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 3 oranges
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 shot of balsamic vinegar, light
  • 1 shot of raspberry liqueur
  • curry powder
  • Vanilla ice cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 10 minutes

a slightly different dessert

First, halve an orange and squeeze the juice. Place the juice in a small bowl. Peel the remaining oranges and cut them into small pieces (about the width of a thumb). Add the orange pieces, orange juice, vanilla sugar, a very small splash of vinegar, and a slightly larger splash of raspberry brandy (use a little more orange juice if you have children) to the bowl. Sprinkle the curry powder over the top. If you just want a very subtle and rounded curry flavor in the background, add just a little. If you want a slightly stronger and more intense flavor, add about half a level teaspoon. Mix everything together and let it steep for at least half an hour; it will really steep after two hours. Then serve the oranges with the vanilla ice cream.
