Marinated goat's cheese

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g goat’s cheese
  • 1 lemon(s)
  • 1 red bell pepper(s)
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • Pepper or chili powder
  • some chives

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Place the goat’s cheese in a deep plate. Squeeze the lemon and pour the juice over the cheese. Finely dice the bell pepper and sprinkle over the cheese. Drizzle with olive oil and season with pepper or chili. Marinate in the refrigerator for about 1-2 hours. Garnish with a lemon slice and chives just before serving. Serve with fresh white bread.
