Marinated grapes

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg grapes or raisins
  • 500 ml water
  • 250 ml wine vinegar, 3%
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 4 allspice berries
  • 5 cloves
  • ½ tsp anise

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Boil water with sugar and add the vinegar. Add the hot marinade to the spices and let stand for 2-3 hours. Pour the prepared marinade over washed grapes or raisins and let them soak for 1.5 weeks.
